Me, along with Kristy and Susan (holding our books) and two members of BLOOM, the Tall Poppy Writers book club on Facebook.

Last Thursday, November 16, I had a book event at Flyleaf Books here in Chapel Hill with fellow Tall Poppy Writers Kristy Woodson Harvey and Susan Bishop Crispell. Here’s a photo journal of the evening.

We had a lovely turnout (despite my anxiety about it), great wine, and excellent cheese (courtesy of Susan Crispell). We also had a journalist from the Salisbury Post (courtesy of Kristy Harvey).

My sister came as well—we both work 24524 hours a day, so it’s rare we get to spend time together even though we live close—but we make time for special events like this. So we took a sister picture (that’s what we call them). So I’ll close with that. Enjoy your Monday, and your week, friends.
