:: Daytime moons remind me of all of the things that are happening around us that we don’t notice or think about.

My latest monthly email missive, “Writing Isn’t Sexy,” just went out today, titled “Daytime Moon.” Here’s an excerpt:

I was walking home from my favorite coffeeshop the other day and pow, there was a daytime moon straight ahead. You can’t always see them here in NC because of the clouds, the humidity, and so on. But that day the sky was crisp and clear.

Daytime moons remind me of all of the things that are happening around us that we don’t notice or think about. These things can be things that are happening to other people—someone who is suffering, and you don’t know about it. Or these things can be happening to you, yourself, and you don’t take the time to notice.
